What is going on with the download Station?
Have been trying to download items and all I getting is a message that I am not registered or ?. Been a member since 2004.

Any thoughts on this dilemma.

However, I did manage to get 2 assets this morning. Usually I get 'Page cannot be found' or something after getting to the download page for an asset - so it might be improving...

At the mo I am downloading train items using a programs called Trainz Downloader Pro.

http://www.huijelte.com/blog/index.php/downloads/ and use ContentManager to import the cdp files.

Yes, I have it, it's a great little program and well worth getting. You need to decide where you want it to download assets to, I tend to pop them into a folder and then I can install into any of my Trainz versions as and when.

I just downloaded Trainz Downloader Pro and have it set up to download to a folder on my desktop. I have added the dependencies to the queue. I just cant figure out how to start the actual download. lol

Can anybody help?

You need to click on Toggle Queue icon:

It starts off by saying Downloading....etc.....and then it says Error in FTP....etc....no such file or directory...etc....

Says that for every single kuid. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it with the same results.

Did you enter your Auran Username and password?

You need to click on Search Settings or Refetch FTP details.

I've clicked on Refetch FTP details numerous times. It's telling me that the kuids that it has found is "no such file or directory".

This may well be what's causing the problems with FTP and downloading generally...........

I'm thinking the same thing too. I hope that is the cause anyway. I'm going to just sit back and wait until the DLS is back up and running properly. Right now I can download if I go use the Add to dl cart but the Download Page option is shut down.

I tried my TDLP (TrainzDownLoaderPro) a couple of days ago and it failed miserably. Today I managed just 2 assets before I got the 'Page cannot be display/found' message so gave up, and that was with ftp.
Might as well wait until after Auran have done with the upgrading thing they claim to be doing and then see. If all fails again I think we can start squawking then...
That should be on the 12th, so only a couple more days to go. However, I would have thought that more than just a couple of assets were 'fixed' by now!
