DLS crashed

Looks like the DLS has just crashed. I can get to the search page but cannot perform a search. Get the message 'Internet Explorer cannot display the page'. It has to happen on a weekend?????? Might not be fixed till Monday.

DLS constant agony

Wel one gets in, the other can't get in. Whatever. DLS is not working as promised. Furthermore I registered my 2010 more then a week ago and still no way to get in DLS and no way to buy a FCT for 2010. I don't know how many 2010 they sold but I think there celebrating till febr.
But there is one sunny side 2010 is better then all the previous Trainz products. Let's hope this will inspire them to do something good for the DLS.

I'm a FCT owner and I received the reply that my downloading can't continue as I reached the 100 MB limit!
I hope that Auran will refund us the time we waste to wait for a download!
But I think this would be a settlement Auran doesn't know!!!

Close down CMP and restart it. Usually that resets the 100mb limit.

The FCT will work for all content on the DLS and is not related to any particular version. You need to look on the Auran Sales page for Trainz stuff. This is where the FCT is located.

One you've purchased it, you'll need to activate it otherwise nothing will happen. Also it can take up to 24 hours for it to become active. You can try to reset your connection yourself by re-entering in your user information in CM3.2. Exit the program then start it again. This will force an update on the server, and may or may not work.

The other thing too is if there are anything in the queue before you've activated your FCT, these items will still download at the same slow speed. Any new items will be at the FCT speed.

There used to be a thread on the functioning (or, actually, non-functioning) of the DLS. I don't know what happened to it. All four of my version's (04/06/09/10) Content Managers will either refuse to log me in with a "Don't know who you are" or they will hang until a final timeout stating it's MY fault I can't get to the DLS.

I admit that there are times, usually measured in minutes, that the DLS will connect immediately and I am able to actually download a few things. Then, after a brief period of happiness reality will come crashing down and the DLS quits.

Curiosity overwhelmed me today and I went to my pending downloads cart in my profile. There were over 250 items in it - none of which I put there. I am mystified as to how they got there. I cleared it out, and was able to get a few items using FTP but, then, the DLS quit again and I kept getting "connection timed out" errors.

Very frustrating to say the least.
