Dissapointed & confused with 2010

Just a note to those here that said they create their 2010 native content but give it a "lessor" version number...

I may be alone in this, but I have started searching the DLS for content with a min build number of 2.9 to avoid faulty content. This leaves me with a really limited selection but allows me to avoid headaches. So, just a heads up, 2010 users in my boat might be missing your content.

Currently I create TRS2004 and TC3 versions. The major difference is in the scripts. From a content creation point of view there is very little difference between TC3 and TS2009 apart from some lod stuff.

In the TRS2004 versions 1,000 downloads isn't unusual, 500 downloads is quite good for the TC3 versions. I have one item that has more downloads in TC3 version than TRS2004 version.

From what I've seen of the TS2009/10 content on the DLS most could use a 2.4 version number especially the scenery items and you would see no difference.

I think you could widen your selection and just discard anything that showed with errors. My items will run fine in TS2010, I've certainly been through and cleaned up a lot f the TRS204 items that had errors in them.

Cheerio John

I just wish the DLS showed whether content was faulty before I bothered downloading it. I don't understand why this error checking cannot happen server side.
