Hi
I have created and completed a new layout/route for TANE. Whenever I work on the layout or make changes I always work on the route and don’t go into session mode. To go with the route I created a session with a number of paths created in schedule library.
I decided to make some changes (track condition) and did this in the route mode. It then asked me if I wanted to save the changes, obviously the answer is YES. However it appears to have not just saved the route but eliminated the session I created and replaced it with a new Default session. I have had this before in TS12. I tried importing my session which I had saved earlier as a CDP only to be told it was already installed; but I can’t access it because it no longer appears as a session in the sessions list. How do you make changes and ensure that the session(s) you have created are not replaced by a new default session and thus undoing all your previous work. The relationship between routes and sessions has always seemed to me to be a little precarious! This is not the first time it has happened!
Must say that generally I am very pleased with TANE - a great step forward.
