disappearing assets tane

I have a route I am building, always careful to highlight route layer when deploying assets or textures. This has happened twice now but I opened the route this morning and noticed in content manager it was open for editing so I submitted the route for modification. and voila a blank route except for textures. all the assets are loaded on the pc and all are listed in the config, just not showing on map. I have a route layer and one session layer.

Any thoughts on how to get it back

Hopefully it's in one of the backup folders, may need to dig around in the folders to find it as the folder names are often random characters.

I would suggest never accept changes when that happens, avoids the blank route or things vanishing problem, hopefully it's on N3V's fix list!
