Difference between "Download" and "Download this Version"?

In Content Manager, what is the difference between "Download" and "Download this Version"?
The distinction makes no sense to me.

The distinction will make sense if the asset has multiple versions.

Download - this will attempt to download the most recent version of an asset that it knows about (on the Download Station).
Download This Version - this will attempt to download the specific version of the asset that you used the command on.

Unless you're using an older version of Trainz or there are reported issues with the latest version, Download is the better option to use.
