Didder Mills Lumber (Large screenies)

Hello,

I'm in the process of creating a new industrial line part of the Didder Mills series. This route is free lanced, with some Pacific Northwest influences. The mill is owned & operated by Didder Mills, and it's primary material shipped on the route is lumber. Two SW1200's and a GP35 work the line. There is an interchange with Canadian National as well, but that is in the planning process.

Here are some screenshots, the route is about 9 boards right now and the FPS is great so far on max view distance.

Worked a bit more on the route. Finishing up half of the east side incline to the saw mill. This lash up of 2 SW1200's ran on open throttle on the incline with an average speed of 15MPH, the consist was almost 1900 tons of 40 foot logs.

Vary nice, was this the route that was going to blow my mind?

May I suggest using different trees other than TNM. Such as the JVC Spruce, an other words "Mix it up a little".

Cheers,
JRT

I'm not sure, does it? The trees really bug me, regardless of who's made from. I am also not done thickening up the forest growth with more trees so it should look a bit more appealing.

It looks nicely done to me. It also looks like mostly built in content which is a plus. Nice to see the M-logs are still being used out there.

Hey Rich,

Yeah the good ole' M-logs found there way onto the logging cars, they are perfect. I haven't found a better replacement, and probably never will.

I've ran into a rather large problem with some of the older content. The JVC grass & shrubery objects don't work well in native mode for TS10, so I have to find a fix or a replacement which will delay the project greatly.

First off, you have a nice route there.

But anyway I've been wondering how you were able to reskin the SW1200s (or how you got the PSDs for them is probably more like it.)

The SW1200's are from RRmods.com, built by Matruck. The skins was a commission done by Joram24 @ RRmods.com.

Nice I love the new Industrial Assets included with TRS 2010.
keep up the great work
