Derailing - Can you get rid of the X?

Hi, does anyone know of a way to set it so that when a loco or carriage/truck derails a great big yellow X does not appear above it?

No, but you can set a time for the derailmant to disappear/vanish.

I wish there was a wreck train, with a Bucyrus 250 ton crane, that could be driven to a derailment, and be scripted to re-rail or remove a derailed train.

Oftentimes on the prototype derailment, a line is completely tied up for many hours.

There is a way to disable the derailed train icon, but I can't tell you how, or explain how to do it, as you might break your Trainz installation.

This is one thing that I have fought for since I've been involved with trainz. Still no luck, but I do think it would be a big asset.
