I thought of you when I posted this. This is the way my life is too. I think I've got the best deal. I'm perfectly happy with my purchase then find out that the latest and greats model comes along that is priced better than the one I got. The same happens with cars too. I always miss rebates and sales by a day or two!

Apparently that deal is already gone! I tried to access the page, but Dell "all gone!"
However, for those interested in that Dell model, which is similar to my 12 day day old laptop, I would like to add that it seems to be a fine machine, well built, with typical Dell quality and a Service policy as good as any out there. The graghics on the 1080p sceen are crisp and clear. Using it as a general purpose notebook, as I do, i.e. internet, Google Earth, PSP, Blender, etc., it runs fairly cool. I have no games installed so I can't say much on the NVidea GeForce 555M GT graghics card; other than that, so far, all seems to be running well.
Iwould reccomend this machine, if you can catch a deal on it.
