I have a number of unwanted assets in my pulldown menu's ex; old engines & rolling stock, Can i delete them or store them somewhere besides the menu ? thanx CPARL

You can't delete Built-In assets, you can disable them.

You can rename them (possibly by editing the -username line in the config file).

Say if I wanted to not have the European locos names show up in the text box, I could rename each ones username: - , then only a - symbol would show in the text box. But the preview photo would still show.

You can select favorite locos and cars tab, thereby only your selected favorites show.

;):hehe: Why wouldn't you want to have such wonderful beautiful contents named, dear guy? :D

;)

Let's retype the message:

Say if I wanted to not have the Venusian locos names show up... :hehe:

The Moony side of Alberte  (which is not the same as 'lunatic side' :hehe:)

If they aren't built-in objects, you can just right click the asset in Content and choose Delete.
You don't have to worry about which ones are which, Trainz won't let you delete them.
If you are talking about the menus in Surveyor, the easiest way would probably be to use ratings. In Content you can right click an asset go to Rating and change the rating to something that means something to you.
Then when you are in Surveyor you can filter based on Ratings. For Favorites in Locos/Rolling Stock that really is what Trainz is doing - Favorites all have a rating of 5.

An example is for Tracks, I rated all rail that I'm planning on using as a rating of 1, all tunnels a rating of 2, bridges rating of 3, etc.
As long as I can remember the rating categories, I just filter Track Rating and only those assets will show up.

You can rename them (possibly by editing the -username line in the config file).

Not a bad idea for 'maybe' content, but editing the config is too much work! Just type a new name into the preview window in CM and the program will save it for you...

Andy :)
