Default Switch Lever?

Hello all - Im just getting back in to the Trainz series of games with my latest purchase of Trainz 2010. Im currently building a route - however, if my memory serves me correct, there is a way to change what default switch lever is placed, instead of the stock one? I believe I was able to do this back in my Trainz 06 days. I really dont want to go back over nearly the entire route later to change the lever type! Thanks in advance! Happy holidays!

I am not sure but go into options and un check defaul levers

^ If you're not sure, why even post an answer?:(

Go to the Region Config file and change the kuid number of the lever to the one you want.

Easy!:)

Thanks! Where is this located?

In CMP, Highlight your route, Scroll ALL THE WAY down, select "View Config File."

The Region should be at the very top of the list. If you selected a default region, it'll say "USA" or "Australia" etc. etc.

I strongly suggest you make a clone of the region and use it in your route. Then, you can change whatever you want and it won't messs up the Default regions.

If you need more definitions of all these terms, try a SEARCH.

Hope this helps.

You could easily use the Replace Assets function in TS2010. Leave the default levers until you're done, or done with a baseboard. Then use the replace assets function to replace them with the ones you want.

I do this all the time. It saves a ton of time instead of "walking" the whole route replacing and missing levers.

Then use the replace assets function to replace them with the ones you want.

Do not name your junctions until you have done this, otherwise you will have to rename them all over again.
