Death in Hanford,CA Bakersfield Sub

Please fellow trainzers send your prayers for the Engineer and the 58 year old woman who was struck and killed in our little small town of Hanford, CA yesterday. It is unknown why the woman was crossing the tracks at an unprotected site, but at 11:06 AM she was struck and killed by a BNSF intermodal train. The train had to have an investigation team arrive from Stockton, CA. The stack train blocked most all intersections in town till about 3:00 PM.

LOOK, LISTEN, LIVE

This could be a suicide, sounds fishy why was she walking cross @ a unprotected site?
Was she deaf and could not hear the horn or blind and not see the train, etc. ?

Damon, I will say a prayer, My father was an Engineer for 37 years on Rock Island dealt with this more than once. My father use to say, I did the best I could do under the circumstances. Trains don't stop on a dime, but they can run over them.

Damon:(
