data transfer

i have just got loads for my trainz UTC, i mean loads, almost half of my download limit, but i am now thinking of going from UTC to a more recent one such as 2006, or maybe 2004, if 2006 doesnt work. but is it possible to transfer evertything from your old trainz (this case UTC) to your new one, and i mena everything, scenery, track, rollingstock and layouts, even UTC presets?

Yes it is possible, although UTC was so long ago, I forget how to do it.

Sorry, I just forget the file structure of UTC, does it have the "Custom" and "Dispatcher" folders?

yes it does, and it happened to be the last folder i looked at. let me gues, you just move those folders?

So you will use 2006 to import the content from those folders to the CMP database, and then your settings are in the TrainzOptions file, copy that and place it on your desktop.
