Be a little while yet depending on how much time I sit Here! LOL and If I can get the dockyard crews to work overtime seems they wont work after Beer O'clock :rolleyes: There is 2 clippers 1 sail only and 1 sail steam and a freighter from the 30's-50's and the interactive dock......to finish I have the freighter and the sail/clipper in the water so to speak but not interactive yet ....and I want this system to fit in with Ians existing shipping meathods (Beware Warships now escort and protect all of Vulcans shipping) I will keep everyone posted on progress here as always :D maybe another screen tonight after another day pulling the dotz..........

Lost control a bit today :eek: 3 Clippers now well 2 and 1 steamclipper bit of patching up here n there but all around 15k polys the people are about 600 each but I like detail Like all my creations I get it happening in Trainz then work out the finer details/mistakes :D .........

Wait on the Horizon a British 72 gun Man O War "Oh No!!" its Hornblower!! the Admarility must realy have it in for us now!.................
origionly not my mesh off some free 3ds site but I suppose after ripping the thing apart and rebuilding nearly everything to lower the polys alot of it is mine LOL dont think this girl will ever hit the DLS but when done I Will make this Toy available to the interested about 65% done I want officers crew marines and the gunports to open and guns run out under panto anim under 30k pols this screen is at 19572 polys :eek:
anyone got any good sounds ?

nice master and comander quote dredd, but your fleet would be DUST if you fought the fleet I roleplay with, 10 super battleships, armed with 15 22" guns, built to (try) giving the fleet a fighting chance against the 36" gun armed super drednaughts (SDs), 30 carriers (abet, all but 10 are proto types and are loaded with fail), 800 heavy crusers, 600 light crusers (just de-commtioned about 400), and nearing 3,000 DDs, and FFs, and, for the final blow, we just finished OUR first SD based on the T.N. Tacoma, more than capable(sp) of wiping out any normal size navy (short of SD navys)

When it comes to naval history the Baltic is just as exciting a subject as any - the players were different, but the continous power struggle between Denmark, Sweden and Russia (and later Prussia) - with sporadic Dutch, British and French participation - made for lots of bloody mayhem on the seas all the way from the Vikings and up.

There's a big "Tordenskiold Days" maritime festival each year in Frederikshavn (Denmark) with, ships, re-enactors of all nominations from all over the Baltic, gunfire, swordfights and all that belongs to such a show - and just keeps getting bigger.

Ohh how I miss a good wargame from the age of sail. At least TRS makes it half possible - YAAAHRRR!!!

Accualy its not from Master and Commander but from the Gregory Peck movie Horatio Hornblower!! need to work on the textures a bit more still a bit yellowish lol crew and broadside anim today :eek:

Took most of today to get the crew looking like in period costume those funny hats the officers wear took forever to nut out ?
but getting there got some custom sounds from mutany on the bounty today .........but if anyone has better send me or post a link here please

"I ran out of time Beer-O'clock !!" and I have to work tomorrow so it will be a few days away yet This might not be Mainstream Trainz but as someone who finaly can Play in Gmax this reminds me of when I was a kid making model ships :p
Just thought the Clippers need some protection from the Nautilus (The Nautilus is a Whecsailor conversion! I dont think he has released it as yet I got a beta in the UTC days but recently Whec gave me his mesh for my projects He will release his version when ready)

I guess the world really was flat in those days. In addition, those yellow grid lines under the sea must have been very helpful when navigating.

The ships look great though.
