I was directed by a friend to a site which had some 3ds files and maps avalible. I have just bought midway, and ya, they are from there. Not sure how the person got them out of the game (site was in german), and I can no longer find the site. I have sent the company a request to upload here, so fingers are crossed. Sometimes they don't mind, as it will draw new attention to their product..

One side a Naval base the other side Civilian port and guess who has the job of moving equiptment and passangers around the Clubmed Fortress ? Interesting Layout ? Good Friday Tomorrow big day in Gmax Hopefully I might have something ready after Easter then we might get to see some trainz/shipping layouts I have incorperated Vulcans Railbarge in the layout to deliver things to the outer docks ;) .......

its not the Yamato it is the USS Baltimore it is at the Trainzshipyards to download now......Mareks Yahoo Group........
Pretty much finished the Destroyer actually its based on a 1916 Grobes German Torpedo Boat but then when you read up on them they were pretty much the Father of the Modern Destroyer and similuar to the British V Class WW1 Destroyer so it ended up a little bit generic for the sake of polys weighs in at about 12k which isnt too bad has animated flag (of your choice)...just need some good ship sounds like a battlestations siren or something :D should be on the DLS soon!

Great work dreddman, I notice the construction of your Navel base is almost complete, a great idea to use an old fort/castle area to protect your fleet :p

Where did you find the carrier and the plane, I do not remember seeing them anywhere but in your screenshots.

The Carrier is Marek's on his website the plane is the Original Sopwith Pup by Jonny211 has it in trainz as long as I can remember ...2nd destroyer nearly finnished this one has a float plane all my ships are driveable :D

And daylightlimited, I have 2 different Yamoto models, both rather larger pig's though... Might work on one soon..

I do not want to sound rude or funny but you seem to have stumbled on this thread near the last few pages, start at the beginning and you will find the link to WinRAR. All I am saying that it is an excellent thread with a LOT of very interesting and talented creations and ideas being displayed.

Trainz is not only for trains :eek:

So there you have it some ships and the island this is as far as I have run with the idea?...so get it have a look have a think what would Portsmouth or some big US naval base be like the Railway Tracks? they must have em? yards as well? near the Docks :eek: This is interesting layout brain fodder there must be something out there historicly correct for someone to create in the layout DEPT....BEWARE! Must mention that the Destroyers uploaded to the shipyards fly the original flags not the Auran Pink Pirate LOL!....................:D
