Beautiful Marek same ship different artist..I feel the need for a Destroyer !
Searching for the one?....anyway Soon within the week i shall unleash on the DLS The black freighter 2 versions scenery and driveable the layout the screens that the pics are taken in you will need the betas from mareks yahoo site Trainz Shipyards...all the rest is a combo of stuff from the DLS over the yrs use it as a module to get yor ideas going.......;)

Ships Ahoy! Will there be a no Flag Version?

I understand it is important to fly flags. How would we know if its the pink navy or blue navy or some historically forbidden navy without them? :D However, I would like to model either Philadelphia, PA shipyard or Northfolk, VA shipyard at some point and those warships would look fantastic in the harbors and dry docks. I downloaded Whecsailors subs a long time ago with these projects in mind. A no flag verision would work anywhere in the world. Just a thought for your consideration.:) Although a blue jolley roger flag would be cool too.:D
 
As I said a page ago The Pink Jolly Rodger is only for the forums and Auran seems some people get upset with historical accuracy (they must rip those pages out of their kids history books)....all you will need is a Texture 256 wide and 128 high to change to any flag or delete the texture and text file and the flag.im and the anim kin file change the config a bit and NO Flag!............your choice:D ......We are reving up now so expect ships soon or go to Mareks Trainzshipyards for some Betas

How about putting something like this in a "Read Me" file as well with the uploads.

And yes I know, NO one ever reads the READ ME file :p

Just to state that this is history

The Keel has been laid .....at the Cookatoo Island Digital Docks...:D ...
HMAS Australia/Canberra..1940's County Class Cruiser..with a colourfull history .....So what about some UK/Portsmouth - USA?...Railway naval base layouts?... I would like a Universal waterline for creators but at the moment I think I and Whec are waterline Marek is -10 and Vulcan is -7?
So how about some Ideas? :p
 
I aggree with you a universal track height would be handy especially if we are talikng about industrys as well .... I will talk to I an about gis track heights and industry set up as he has done the most shipping for trainz and related Indstruies ...so If we keep compatabile to his scale yjen our ships can interact with his methods ?.....I'll get the dirt on the track heights ect and let everyone know...:D would be a lot easier for the user creating layouts intergrating indsturies into rail/shipping .......
the more i think of it you cold have cargo transfer from rail to air? :eek:

This Clemson DD has taken up too much of my time. as soon as I add her running lights She will be at the DLS,

sure, I could add more things to her but she is at 17000 polys now, ,and if I detailed her more,, I would be just bogging down on and getting nothing else compled

Will come in two verson, dark grey with forward gun shield,
Light greyblue with the open forward mount.

Off to more fun things.

Nice work Whec the fleets growing I have a couple in the pipeline as well 4 stacks ooohhhhhh.....I tell you what info about ships is as hard to get as trainz LOL anyone got a large Pic or side plan of the HMAS Australia/Canberra Im about half way there but my accuracey might not be spot on as the only pics I can get my hands on are a bit small for the detail sometimes so I'm guessing a bit here n there?

Well the County/Kent class cruiser is realy anoying me all the pics I find are smallish trying to get low poly detail and I like my crews so I stopped today and useing decent sixe pics n plans (sort of) a diagram at least and measurments here is a WW1 W Class Fleet Destroyer modeled around the HMS Whitney...a few bugs yet but when the ships start hitting the DLS lookout!...:cool: (sorry no pink Jolly Rodger) hope I did'nt offend anyone:rolleyes: :p :D :D :D

Thanks to Bemuda Triangle Lost Ancient very old Technology stuff "bit like the Stargate and a Startrek transporter Shaken not Stirred and baked in a very low oven for 45 mins"....has enabled world Navies (from any Time Period) to come togeather for this Gala event ..."The Subjugation of the Dredded Sims.." after all we need more People in Trainz! :eek:​

Four stacks, is that one of the lend/lease destroyers?

Yes,

50 of these used, and worn out tin cans were traded to England for land in which to buld US air Bases.
They filled a gap, and were also very hard on French Dry Docks (hehehhe HMS Campbelltown, former USS Buchannon)
 
If they can be moved vertically in trs then they would be really cool like you could set the amount of ballast they had for travelling in rough or calm seas.
