Curves and speed limits

Is There a general rule of thumb for speed limits for curved track of deferent radius 10% 20% 30% Ect Or what ever way you measure
the curvature of track?

The rout I'm building has speed limits of 85mph to 100mph on strait track, but on curves how do you decide the speed limit for realistic
running?

Or Do You Just Guess on which looks O.K.

I suppose what looks okay. I'm not very knowledgeable about that myself. However, in Trainz, locomotives don't derail due to curves.

Taken from Armstrong's book:

1 degree 5280' radius 100mph max speed
5 degree 1146' radius 50mph max speed
10 degree 573' radius 30mph max speed
15 degree 383' radius 25mph max speed
