Cumberland to Connelsville - trackmarks

Hi,

I have downloaded the above route onto my 2010EE edition and apart from replacing a few speedtrees so it works in compatibilty level everything works fine, in fact it is a beautiful route.

The one problem I have is that I don't seem to have the drive/navigate to trackmark option in my drivers instructions whatever I try. It does have the industry names so some sort of navigation can be done using that but the ability to use trackmarks would improve things no end. I should add that there are trackmarks on the map but I just can't work out how to get them to appear in a list for the drivers. Any help would be much appreciated.:)

Adding other desitnations to Navigate To or Drive To list

I too would like yo know how to add other Trackpoints or Destinations to the existing list of locations already in the lists. Why? Lots of reasons - but mainly I would like to route a train a different way or stop in between the listed locations, etc.

Hope someone can help us out here soon.

Cheers,

Open the route in Surveyor and click on the drop down menu in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Open "Edit Session", and click on "Driver Command."

You find a list of commands. Put a check mark on the ones you want to use, and save.

When you are in driver, right click on the driver icon in the lower left corner, and select the command that you prefer.

I'm glad that you like the Cumberland to Connellsville route. I certainly enjoyed building it.

If you have any questions regarding the route, post them here and I'll try to answer them.

Regards, Joe

Hello Joe,

Thanks for a really beautiful route. I plan to develop some sessions for it and I welcome ideas for some freight sessions. Any maps you, or anyone else could provide would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Ted Ryder

PS - Your route should really be on the DLS and on from the TPR routes page, I just happened to stumble upon it on the Trainz Resources web page, which I never knew existed.

Hi Ted,

The route was developed using two existing HOG/Microdem maps by Fishlipsatwork, and a third that I created usingTransDem.

The only maps I used for reference were USGS maps of that area.

I'm glad that you like the route.

Hi Joe,

OK, I'll see if I can put together some using Vista Mare.

I really encourage you to make your route more visible, it's one of the best prototypical routes I've seen. Can you put it on the DLS? Also, if you make it accessible from the main TPR page it will get a lot more attention. I would love to see some good sessions developed for ti.

Ted
