Creating a MP session - system not in "state"

Hello all.

After my recent purchase of TS12, I have been amazed at the new features, aswell as the new, greatly admired content.

After figuring out how to create a multiplayer session, I have encountered a problem that haunts me even on the built-in MP session.

I put in the MP rule, create my consist, and launch my scenario. When I have finished filling out my settings, and typing my description, I hit "start session". But, when I do I get red text underneath the description box saying: "System is not in state for a multiplayer game". I also get this on the default MP session.

Can anyone help me? My build number is 47103. I purchased my TS12 off of Steam, and my seriel number is registered in-game and on my account.

Thanks in advance!

Carter

Not sure on the built-in one, but custom ones must be uploaded to the Download Station to be usable in Multiplayer.

EDIT: 'one/ones' is referring to the route/session.

I dont know if the "Steam" build numbers are the same as the Auran build numbers, but if they are the problem might be that you are missing a patch.
My TS12 build number is 49922.

It seems to be another case of buyer beware, as Steam versions do not work with N3V-supplied patches.

It may be that the server is behaving odd again though, or that the route/session (if not built-in) is not on the Download Station.

Sounds like you locally modified the default MP session. The other part you say I put in the MP rule . Does this mean you created or edited a route/session? If so, you can't just start the game ,you need to upload alot of stuff to server, then download it all again , once it has cleared the servers filtering system.
Hope this helps...

What I meant was I was trying to create a MP session on the Mojave.

I did NOT edit the default MP session in any way.

The one thing I know is that my friend purchased TS12 from Steam also, and he is not having the problem. But I do.

If this problem persists, I might have to contact Steam.

If I can get any more information, I will be back here.

Thanks for the help so far,

Carter

If you are adding the Multiplayer rule to an existing session, this session will need to be either built-in or uploaded to the Download Station.

Ok, then how do we make it 49922? My build number is also 47103, and I need to figure out how to patch it to 49922, but I don't know how, gotta link or tutorial?

If it's Steam, then you can't until Steam creates a patch that takes TS12 up to a current Auran/N3V build.
