CP Tuna Sub

The track you see here...is as straight as it can get. Do it anymore and you're back where youre started! :p

Yes, all my routes will have industries...It's a shame that some routes lack them...I don't believe your Full CSX route has some does it ?? Heres a tip...for a future update...try adding industries...I know you will like the route.

could use a little work in the realism area

Right... umm... where to start...

Your curves are too tight. Like, all of them. Except that crossover on page two, which is too broad (the blades on the turnouts would be so delicate that they would break.)

Far too many 3 way switches for it to be realistic. Railroads try to avoid three-way turnouts wherever possible.(high maintenance, parts hard to find, very hard on wheelsets (two frogs)) The only place you really see them is in large hump yards.

That "left-right" turnout... what exactly is the purpose? I've seen them occasionally in tight industrial trackage in like, downtown Hoboken NJ, but you'd never see that on a mainline (three frogs; maintenance nightmare). Also, the fact that the other track just switches into it without any weird switching action sorta defeats the effect. (also, the other track switching the other way has seven (!) frogs).

Also, crash barriers along the route aren't exactly going to do much in the way of stopping trains.

(BTW, good job on the name -though I would have gone with "Meatball Sub" myself)

Woodland? Have you been copying toy trainz again? :hehe:

Iced

P.S. this is my 650th post!

It's called "constructive criticism." It's a thing we used to have before the forums the general attitude of the forums became something along the lines of "OMG YOU"RE RUOTE IS SO COOL KTHNXBY" regardless of the quality of the content on display.

Also, regarding 3 ways... most railroads just use two interlaced normal switches when three tracks diverge from one. There are something like twelve proper 3 way switches in the continental United States at the time of writing.

The kid is new at making routes....Cut him some slack.....Like I said...I am liking what I see...Keep up the good work :Y: :Y:

Train Run

I decided to run a test session today. I came across some errors that require fixing (including removing stupid signs), and I MAY need to redo the whole Woodland Industrial Spur junction (see it on last page)

Anyway, here are today's pictures.

I caught this neat picture. I think it really expresses the route's RR theme.

In this picture we see F40PH #203 at Fueltin Airport. Unfortunately, the platform at Fueltin Airport is shorter and higher than the others, so I'll have to figure something out...
