Could there possibly be a "locked topic cleanup" soon?

I have noticed that there are a lot of locked topics just sitting there, some with content that could be hurtful or useless.

I'm wondering if somehow there can be some sort of "locked topic cleanup", clearing space for more important topics.

Some of those locked threads may actually be useful as they may contain info that is helpful and where locked when the OP lost interest in the Topic.

I seems he knows exactly what he is doing to us, by posting/starting so many pointless threads on a daily basis ... and is seemingly doing it directly on purpose to annoy the Forum community ... the reason, is unknown ... would this constitute: "Flooding" the forum with multiple pointless threads, sometimes 2 or more started pointless threads per day ?

Let's not get too judgmental please. Now back on topic.

Threads can be closed for several reasons.

1. The thread is an NV3 announcement that doesn't need replies.

2. The thread is very helpful and useful to the Community such as good advice on how to make something.

3. The thread is closed at the request of the original poster for a variety of reasons.

4. The thread is closed because it's not relevant anymore, usually by request.

5. The thread is closed because it's off topic. These are usually removed.

6. The thread is closed because it violates the Code of Conduct. This could be for another variety of reasons such as spam. These are removed also.

I am sure there others I can't think of right now.

P.S. - Just as an after thought, threads can be closed or they can be locked and stickied. It depends on whether or not they can benefit the Community.

I don't mean to flood the forums, so this is more or less a request for the locked topics I had started to be deleted.

Also, I might not be around for a while, as my life has gotten even busier.

I never intended to "flood" the forums, I just have a lot of questions - had a lot of questions.

I don't have anything to say right now anyway.

I am still learning how to behave in these forums, and I'm still not used to it.

I am requesting for my useless topics to be deleted simply because they are useless.

Considering this one is going nowhere as well, thread closed.

We don't always delete entire threads that have been closed. The topic itself may have useful information in it, even if the thread is getting out of hand. We may or may not delete specific posts.
