Cool Route In US!

If by cool, do you mean winter?:hehe::p

Sorry couldnt help my self on this one, being its July 4th weekend and its going to be a 'warm' one.

Best Regards
Mike S.

Cool is fairly subjective. There's a couple in 12 itself, others may be development for the platform, most of the existing 'cool' routes were made for other versions, and there may be some effort involved to update them for use in 12.

Search the DLS under the names "philskene" and "neilsmith749" and you'll get some nice U.S. or U.S.-themed routes. Dermmy's checkrail.com has several as well. Cascaderailroad has a Horseshoe Curve route thought I'm not sure it's on the DLS yet, and there are some amazing payware U.S. routes available or that will be available soon. If you search under "msgsapper", he redid a number of U.S. routes to be "TS2010-complaint" although I believe what he did (at least in the case of the FEC route) is to use only DLS-based content. The original route by foxgraphix runs just fine for me. HTH.

And I have several unfinished terraformed maps for ts12 on my site that include utm tiles and allow you to create your own "cool" route for ts12:D

Just click on my sig banner...

They are actually for 10 but will work in ts12 without an issue...

Sorry for not being more specific, but by cool I don't mean winter, (Seriously?!) I mean a map that is US themed, is well done, and possible set in a more populated area. What i mean is not so much farm land but more suburbs with roads and railroad crossings. Thanks!

Favorite Urban Routes

If you are looking for a modern era route, check out Maxwerks Modesto & Empire,<kuid:425968:1019> Lots of industries, and interchanges with BNSF & UP.

If you want something from the 1950-60 era, check out his HobokenShoreRR,<kuid:425968:1420>

If you like early 1900's try his JayStConnecting,<kuid:425968:1247>

All of these routes are in an urban setting with lots of streets and factories, some with tracks in the streets.

Another fun urban route is Spikerod's Happy Switcher,<kuid:147684:1733>. This route is not quite complete, but check back with me in a few months. With Spikerod's permission, I am updating the route with a few more industries, adding some portals and implimenting CMTM2 Car Destination system.

Hope this helps.

are you looking for east coast ... west coast... desert ... Appalachian mountains... rocky mountains ... ?

Frankly the "coolest" route I have ran is the mojave sub by jointed rail included in trainz 2012

Well, I live outside Chicago and I am looking for a route like this one for Trainz 12:

Sadly, this route has never been released to my knowledge, So if anyone knows any route like this one I would appreciate it if they gave me a link.

So has anybody thought of anything? I'd like a route to drive my new UPs with TTXs from jointed rail. For more info refer to above post.

Hi guys! I'm doing the BNSF Central Valley Sub Divison from Bakersfield to Modesto (its already on the download station!) Then from Modesto to Stockton! Heres some early screens. I've got 20 hours a week and you tube updates! Here is some video from my home town Hanford, CA! LOTs of crossings that are ATLS and traffic controled! Plus we will have the San Joaquin Valley Railroad in this one from Lemoore, CA to Goshen Junction, its by Visalia, CA!

I used to have the hardest time with routes till I started making my own:D
