Controls

Yes....the keyboard control is best. Here are the simples:-

w=forward(press and hold for faster)
s=stop
x=reverse(press and hold).
h=horn
p=pause game

well i guess that will work. I was kind of hoping to use the controls that i recently played in a tranz 2006 demo i belive. i was able to go forward and reverse and set the air, set the indepent, it was much easer to use since i like viewing outside of the cab. thanks

Well yes...but you did ask for alternative controls for the turny knob(DCC), if you want to use cab type controls outside or inside of cab(assuming you have selected 'cab mode' first, the controls are:-

q=brake release
a=application
z=lap

e=independant brake on/off

reverser
f=foward
r=reverse

S, F, C, WWWW is Dynamic Braking in throttle notch 4

V is sand.

J is junction throw ahead of consist

Alt+J is throw junction behind consist

What is the Pantograph keyboard button ?

What is the Full Emergency Brake keyboard button ? A is initial Apply, and A 21 times is more braking.

Pantograph key is 'home'...or end...one of um anyway ;)

My emergency braking is...
s, to shutoff throttle, z to apply lap and then a to drop down one to full application....then if in an even greater emergency....r, to throw the reverser and w,w to apply enough throttle to spin the wheels in reverse.

Subway, have you tried this rule, Cab Controls HUD,<kuid:-16:287428>
It Cab mode it provides small control levers whether you're in the cab or outside. It is the HUD controls used in the 3 Tidewater South sessions.
