Controlling were passengers get on a train

If the wagon is not passenger enabled, it will not take passengers. I wonder if this could be scripted so it is only enabled at specific times: odd or even hours, time ranges, perhaps controlled by a trigger?

Yes, it can, the 'Station Platform XXXm' series of platforms on the DLS have some scripting, they have a rate of passengers arriving at the platform, and configurable rush hours and station types. A more complex station could certainly be created, if someone wished to.

Actually, I was thinking of the other side. I.E, the wagon would be scripted to accept passengers or not depending on a given set of criteria. Even if there were people on the platform, if say the wagon was out of service or destined for another station, if might refuse to load.

Our dear TRam has made a passenger script that would take all that into account. I think he would be better to describe it's functions, then me.
