Content Manager- What am I doing wrong?

My PC was made in 2009, which I suspect is part of the reason TS2006 doesn't like to run smoothly on it. It ran great on my much, much older computer. I'm confident 2010 will run great on it.

Just one thing in your trainz folder there is a file called assets.tdx and there may be another in the cache folder called assets.bku. Delete these two files then re-start your game and let it work for a while untill it has remade the the assets.tdx file this should sort out any problems with your missing assets.

Also when you loaded TRS20006 is it an old version that needs the update (there is only one update with TRS2006) If it was the old version you loaded you must load the update straight after loading it, you must never start it up before loading the update! if you do it corupts the program.

Ps, did you activate your FCT you need to activate it before it will work... have you done that?

I got this all fixed now by 1) setting every .exe related to Trainz to run as administrator, and 2) by installing the patch that brings it up to version 3092. (I think that's the number). It works great now.

That odd mine go's to 3099 but so long as it's working great who cares

I recently got back into Trainz, after not playing for a few years. I am using TRS2006. I have been downloading extra content for a few hours, and have a folder full of .cdp files which I imported into content manager. I also downloaded some from the Download station directly into content manager. However, none of this content is showing up in game. Also, since going through this, a route I was working on has completely disappeared. I'm not sure if this is related or not.
