Container Station Question

I started using the New England Coastal route. There is a container station number one on that route. My question is, what kind of car do I need to have in the consist to make that station work, ( a name of the car would help so I can locate it) and does the car have to be loaded to start and the station unloads the care, or does it load an empty car?

I assume you are using the built in container station by Auran that comes with TS2010 and TS12. If so, I suggest going to the DLS and get the container car "TTX Econo" by iceman2117. It works for me and the container station will load double stacked 40ft containers onto empty TTX Econo cars if you send them to the 40ft container load track. Then I take these to a container port I built using multiple-industry basic where they unload. I have not tried unloading TTX Econo at the container station but that should work if you load them somewhere else.
