Contact with Developer

I spend a hell of a lot of hours driving trainz. Some experiences are good and some are bad (70%+ of TRS2004 scenarios and routes are missing lots of content even though they say their routes etc contain only default objects).

Unforunately there appears to be no opportunity anywhere (except for using the Download Station) to be able to access the developer's details so that user experiences can be passed on.

This is a shame beause I would dearly love to be able to send compliments to a number of developers plus constructive criticism as a result of my experience using their developments to some others but to do so requires a lot of inconvenience to me in locating the necessary information.

I think it would be a good idea if, in the selection menu for Scenarios and Driver Routes that a link be provided to the developer to enable email comment to be passed easily from those of us who use their creations.

You can allways send the Author of the Route a PM if you don't feel like commenting on the forum.

A bad idea, I think. If an end user has a serious issue or really wants to say 'Thanks' then it is not too onerous to dig the contact details out of the asset's config and/or post a message in the forum. An easily accessible link is begging for spam...

i personaly have been in contact with a number of developers.contacting these guys has never been a problem for me. i just pull up their info from the down load station and shoot them an e-mail. alot of them have been very nice.
