Constant need to repair the database

Hi folks,
My trainz has a constant need to repair the database. Every time I switch it on, it comes up with "The trainz asset database is damaged and needs to be repaired. Click OK to exit trainz now. Go on to content manager and the process will start automatically"
This is the 12th time it has needed to do this. Why? Lost my trains to.
Tell me whats wrong

Sounds like trainz hasn't shut down completely before you turn your comp off.
