Conrail Heritage unit thu Cresson PA!!

Thanks for posting.

Some of the gondolas and boxcars look a bit retro too.

How come you catch trains on the video that are moving? I've watched for hours and all I saw was a snow squall!

Did you notice too that the trains move as though they're in Trainz Driver? They seem to stutter along in the same fashion

John

The reason for all the locos is that they are all different so maybe thats why it is called the Heritage train.
The reason also for the retro rollingstock.
There is a clip on Youtube of the same train coming up Horseshoe Curve and it is really working hard. Check out on the vids at the end of thie video from Cresson.
Also checked out the audio on the website, great to hear trains at work when you are on the other side of the worldand cant railfan in person.
Cheers,
Mike

WHY SO MANY LOCOMOTIVES!??!
The main reason most of the time is a power move, That is the company will have more locos in one area and need some in other ares. So they will add the extras on to a consist going where they are needed. In this case they may be it is ,as stated before, a heritage train.
