Connection error.

Hi all.
:wave: I've just completed the loading of TRS2004 and everything is ok.
BUT when trying to open trainz programme I'm getting the error message of 'Renderingsystem failure' , which I've never had before.
So has anyone else had this problem, if so how do you get around this.
All NEW directX etc has been added.
Can anyone help......:'(

I suggest running a Trainz Diagnostic Test and then report your results here.

Actually, there is another form of compatibility for all Trainz versions: OS compatibility (not the same as the one in TS2009/10)

This can be found in the Properties box when right-clicking a program file or shortcut, on the Compatibility tab.

The thread that I pointed out was relative to 04 and clearly referred to using OS compatibility mode, but this was obviously not picked up on !! On that occasion the poster found that they were able to get the game going by setting Windows compatibility mode to 2000/Me

The 'Renderingsystem failure' should be a video card problem maybe a new driver would help.
