Rail Tragic
As some may know I am working on a route; Southern Region - Brighton Line. Commenced in T:ANE transferred over to TRS19 for completion.
The route is saved to [backups] to a remote hard drive [with separate file name] on a regular basis, as most every route builder knows is critical for obvious reasons.

Here's the thing. It seems when importing .cdp file from TRS19 into T:ANE many unknown assets are discovered which I am assuming is why the route will not load/run in T:ANE.

This is a bit of a concern as those who have not yet gone over to '19 and still working with T:ANE will not be able to run this route, assuming I am making no errors. Is there a secret to saving in '19 for enabling play in T:ANE? Or is it now that anything created in '19 will not run/play on T:ANE?

Thanks,
Val.

I have always operated under the impression that routes/sessions created in Trainz (any version) will not be compatible in any earlier version of Trainz. This was also true with TANE SP2 (I believe it was) and TANE SP1.

I am currently working on a route that will be available in both TANE and TRS19 so I do the work in TANE and import the cdp into TRS19 - not the other way around.

TRS19 to T:ANE is not possible unfortunately. Probably because of provision for the TurfFX layers.
cheers
Graeme

Yes pware, this was how I began after installing '19, importing from TANE but liked it that much started to construct in '19. What I did not know was '19's incomparability with TANE...which of course I do now. Which means all the work in '19 over the past week or so has basically been in vain. Live and learn huh.
