I got the 2012 version and of course it is a lot of assets in any category comming in RED and I can't found where told this software to be compatible with previous version as advertised

Phil,

The compatibility mode has been removed from TS2012. You need to ensure that there are no errors in any of your old content in order to use it in TS2010 native mode and TS2012.

You might want to check the DLS for any updated content. There has been a team of content creators going about fixing the old content to ensure that it works error free in TS2010 and above. Your so-called bad assets may have already been repaired and are now up on the DLS.
