Multiplayer Dispatcher
For those of you who are a fan of the NYCTA, You may hopefully be home to a great experience. The plans are:

A Full Website!

TeamSpeak Server!

And to top it all off, 3 different simulators covering the NYCTA. They are:
  1. Trainz 2006/2009/2010 (Obviously)
  2. Ship Simulator 2008 and above
  3. City Bus Simulator 2010 (Only)


For the Subway, Someone may need to create the entire subway system. Not just a single line, The entire System. There are good reasons:
  1. The Map will be the same for all players
  2. We are operating on different lines, There may be a couple of inaccuracies in distances if we make a different line.

It depends. I am trying to create the entire subway map... No kidding. I am referencing off a program called BVE (Somewhat better than Trainz), and a compiled subway map of every track. The Map will be the base for sessions and lines that I will create going off a timetable. If you can help, that would be great. For added realism, I need although a single track with only the roof.
 
ill see what i can whip up. in my opinion trainz would be better than BVE if it had some more of the sound effects like BVE refering to the nycta
 
BVE has it's own community... TeamSpeak is a great idea if you think about it. Just think, You being a dispatcher. BTW First 3 Posters get to become the first dispatchers!!!
 
The easiest way of getting a project like this off the ground is by starting it yourself. It's far too easy to come up with ideas and ask others to do the hard yakka. If you start the web site yourself on Webs.com for example, you've at least created a presence and hopefully people will take the site seriously. if it fails, what the heck? The site cost you nothing and it only takes a few minutes to set up a few pages of information using their excellent site builder.
 
A Potential Starting Point....

Back in the earlier Trainz days there was a decent sized community of NYCTA fans here and a number of nice subway assets created by talented and dedicated folk, two of which I remember off the top of my head: jeffmorris and MagicLand.

jeffmorris even went so far as to create a pretty spot-on and complete subway layout (KUID: 44558:100800 ). His primary focus was laying down nearly all the active track accurately, so there's little to no detail scenery work (stations are somewhat generic and above ground is bare grid, but if one is planning to recreate the subway system, his layout might be a good starting point. For someone who used to stand at the front door of subway trains as a kid and pretend to be the engineer, it's a blast even in its form. I'm not sure if he's still around these days, but he's definitely someone to try to bring into the fold if he is.

Well... I was just Banned from that community because I was not good enough for them. They are not going to come close to the size of my community.

Those guys at BVEStation are a piece of crap. One of the moderators picked a fight with me. he kept saying every bad word in the book. When I told him to stop, he banned me (The forum this time). Thank God i am part of this community.

Oh, WOW! LOL!

That is pretty funny. My question is why:hehe: ? I was following the rules. I read the section every week. I was not realy showing any anger. Why were you showing bad language in the first place? I know that you are being kool:cool: . Well it is OK. On top of it, This is the reason why I started this community anyway.

BTW If you wan't to, I will happily make you Head Dispatcher! Just PM Me!:wave:
