Coming Back

O.K. I'm coming back to Trainz. I started with Trainz 2004 and for some reason lost interest and got into flight simulators. I still fiddle with 2004 but want to upgrade to install on my new laptop. I know I will not get into this sim deep, so I am asking for some help. What version do I want from the standpoint of building model railroads sets and running them in the sim, and downloading and running other people's layouts.

Is 2010 just a layer and tree upgrade or is it completely new and is it a lot better than 2009 and why a new version so soon?

Asking for your opinion here before I plunk down the cash for the download. I am leaning towards 2010, but want to be sure.

I am pretty sure my laptop will run it. Thanks for you help.

Get 2010. It's the future.
Nice laptop there. I have the exact same one.
You shouldn't have ANY problems running 2010 with it.

Thanks for the help guys. I will probably order the download of 2010 this evening. Then I may have to come here once in a while and ask a question or two.
