So yea, that unnamed route I have been building, its COE rail. Also known as the Michigan Airline. I know Chrisracer did a version of COE rail, but its old, outdated, and a Chrisracer route. (Meaning its all wrong.)
Now my good friend, fellow model railroader, and fellow operator used to work for COE rail. He got as far has being head of track maintenance. The route is a DEM, with Google images as the textures to get things right, but they will be all replaced as I go along. I do have a small portion of the CSX Saginaw sub, which I plan on building a proper version of, included. I intend to have portals on there to just spawn a train here and there to add so interest in the Wixom MI area. But less text more images of what I have so far.
Wixom road and the interchange, with whats left of the diamond in the back ground. Track gang is out on the speeder today doing a track inspection.
Wixom Elementary school can just been see to the right.
Here a CSX auto rack train heading from Flint passes by a short cut of cars left by another CSX train. These cars are today's job for the COE rail crew when then finish their pick ups.
