CN Abandon Railroad

CN Abandon Railroad a 5 mile short line that was abandon for 30 years, There not really very many abandon routes out there for trainz so I thot i try something different as a test project, not sure if i'll keep it or delete it just using this map to try out some ideas for CNR Halifax Sub.

Forgive me (also for quoting pictures) but the first time I saw this one I looked for the derailed traincars under the X's.

End of the Line CN Ripped up the line 30 years ago how ever the town refused to let the rip of the remaining 5 miles fores CN into leaving the tracks.

2 miles form the mainline is a small valley town that heavy relayed on the railroad has went belly up after CN pulled out

The former branch keeps going for 20 more miles.

Lakevalley Town train display and resort, the swicher yard and Y are all the remain of the railroad at Lakevalley, Scrap plant keep its tracks.

I like the discarded short lines. It's amazing what you find out about them, how they were used - another time - another era!

AND, It's having that extra historical knowledge that arouses the creative instinct in you, to go and re-create the route, then enjoy it.

Thanks everyone glad you like it seeing how I was only massing around with mixed ideas see what it would look like, I planned on deleting it afterwords but I'll reless it and on DLS I may extent the route.
