No problem - a Quick Database Repair can fix most connection-related issues. For the ones that it doesn't fix, removing and re-entering the username/password in Content Manager can help.

Now, I'm the newbie around town so maybe I shouldn't comment just yet but what the heck...
I wonder if this isn't related to maintenance (in an extension to their forum issues perhaps?). Because when I started trying Trainz (2012) out yesterday evening I ran into the exact same issue. It refused to acknowledge my account even though everything was set up correctly.
Until at one moment it simply worked, without any chances on my part.
SO I wonder; couldn't it have been maintenance or something?

Nah, it's just N3v trying to make an "old dog do new tricks", it doesn't seem to be working very well.
I have decided to stop at 2010, it seems to be very stable, whilst TS12 is full of minefields & seems to
require the user to jump through hoops just to get it installed & working. Then you have the problems with
the 'so called' UPGRADE to SP1, which appears to break everything you have just done. Most of the problems
on these forums seem to stem from the new demands that TS12 SP1 is making on the use of new conventions
in the name of "error free content", that the older versions used to run with no problem.
(bit like a premier footballer who cant play because he's had a slight tap on his ankle, whilst a 3rd division player
would just get up & get on with the job he's paid to do)
