Help, please,
Will someone please give me a list of all steps necessary to download an
asset ALL THE WAY into the menu of the surveyor. I have downloaded so
many assets but have not gotten any of them into the surveyor menu. I apparently do not understand all the steps necessary and the proper sequence that must be done. I do not have trouble downloading assets which results in the display of the CMP screen and the ratcheting sound of something. I love the Trainz and have an early one plus 2004 thru 2010 versions but I am frustrated. Many Thanks Harold

Harold; I don't know how many items you've downloaded, but if they are FAULTY they may not appear in Surveyor, if they are MISSING DEPENDENCIES they may not appear in Surveyor. If the dependencies are FAULTY, but present, they may not appear in Surveyor.

Have you attempted to see if this is the case with the content you've downloaded?

Make sure that you have show only favourites unticked in your surveyor area. Go to your options in surveyor and take a look there.

Also make sure that you have automatically commit set in your settings area. Otherwise they are sitting in the Open For Edit area waiting for you.

You don't say which version is giving you trouble, but it it is 2006 all downloads will get put into CMP as "Open for Edit". What you have to do is go to the 'Open for Edit' tab and commit all of them before they will show in the game.
