CMP being most unfriendly at the moment.

Although my CMP shows I have 100MB left for today, every time I click on a new object to download, I get a message on the bottom of CMP telling me that "Download cannot continue as I've downloaded my 100MB quota for the day"

This quite simply is not true as I've not been able to obtain anything for the last 2 days.

I've also noticed the forum speed has improved somewhat but the CMP problem is giving me a terminal dose of the nadgers.

Any ideas?

Have you got an FCT Gam ???

If you haven't, then just getting one for 6 months or more will alleviate this 100mb daily quota malarkey, $17.95 Aussie Dollars, that's about £8....Just a quick and easy solution really..

No, at the moment I've let my FCT lapse but will definitely renew it for 12 months shortly as I hate the snail-like speeds currently experienced.

As an update to my earlier post, CMP has now sprung into life and is beginning to work intermittently so I suspect my problem may be server related.

How long does it normally take for a FCT to show up once its been activated

Sometimes it can be quick Bluerall, within 24 hours, especially if you do it during the week, but, because Auran are in Australia, it does take time for your payment to go thru and be recognised, etc.....As you are a newbie, are you aware how to activate the ticket from your end ???

Not really a newbie, forgot my old handle from Trainz 2006 and just made a new one for 2009.
What do you mean by my end?
Activated it at the site if thats what you mean, site shows its activated.
 
Yes, that's what I meant, I wasn't sure if you knew how to get your FCT up and running.....

Server Full Error

I'm also having probs. with the Download Station. I've purchased TS2009 and a 1 year 1st class ticket, registered it and can access the file list. But I always get the "Server seems to be full" error when trying to download. Checked my firewall (using 'Internet Settings') and tried re-registering. Still no joy. Sent two messages to the Auran helpdesk but they aren't replying. Anyone got a solution for me please! (Windows XP latest SP)

Hmmmm... I have just gone to http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php and selected some items from there. This then brings up my Content Manager .... and now it works! But not when launched from the Trainz menu!

FCT frustration

Having similar problem to raillink except with CM2.
I get "Unabled to download, the server appears to be full, please try again later..." :(
Well.. Ive been trying later for the last 24 hours with no change and coincidently my problems only started after I purchased and activated a FCT.
Downloading with CM2 worked perfectly, although slowly, immediately prior to this. :confused:
