CM2 Use Question

Hi All,

Simple question here... can you have downloads and/or imports and/or commits running while the game is running in TRS2009? I just went to download something from the DLS and forgot I had TRS2009 running in the background. A new window of the CM2 opened up, but I didn't start the download for fear of corrupting something, at least not before coming here to ask if it can be done.

Hi Greg,

You would most likely get an error if more than one program tried to access the Trainz Asset Database (TAD) at the same time. In general, it's not a good idea to run CM2 while in Driver or Surveyor but I don't think you mess things up by doing so. The two database rebuild commands can fix most all problems if something goes wrong.
