Thanks|Hello guys, Content Manger 2.0 from trainz 09 is not working, ad it is not installing cdps. after trainz 12 took a ---- I wanted to put all my cdps in there,(i save the cdps i download on a seperet hard drive, in folders IE. UP stuf goes in UP.) so i kept trying to install them into cm 2.0. and cm 2.0 would open and nothing would happen. so if yall can help me, Thanks!

No offence, but you mention two versions of the game that you have not registered.
Fix that first:

Next step is asking yourself what actually is in the CDPS files; maybe the content is above 2.0.

as i said before. I got trainz 09 from Gamestop and the serial key does NOT work on this forum, just like steam. Trainz 12 I got off of simulator central in 2011. What i have not told people the reson why, but here it is: my father registered trainz 12 . but i was under 13 so it was my dads email/Trainz Forum Account username & Account. now flashback to 2014. my dad passed away and he took the account that had trainz 12 registered on it. i do not have entry to the email so i can NOT Request a new password. I have told the helpdesk this with no avail. but i was looking for an old email then i came across a remember password for this account. i looked into it and found this account. but everyone is giving me fire REGISTER THIS REGISTER THAT CONTACT HELPDESK. There is no solution. ok i have tried.
back to the cm problem.
all the cdps are from jointed rail and i have the last version of 09. so it should work. i downloadthe cdp and open it. then cm opens then nothing.
so i have no clue whats going on.
and also i need to stop being a gimepig
Now this is something I doubt. In your initial post you are talking about "CM 2.0". Based on this list that should be TS2004. Now maybe you made a typo and intended 3.0 instead, but that is "just" TS2009 and not the latest version of TS2009.
I can be completely wrong though and maybe CM is being versioned different on older versions of the game.
So what I suggest is this:
Look-up the build number of your TS2009. Post it and check it against this list.
If you are not on the latest build; start patching.

CM 2.0 is the CM version for TS2009 as far as SP3 from memory. SP4 would be 3.3.

my CM does not download anything
I bought Trainz 12 yesterday, registered the key with Steam, downloaded the game and registered the key with Auran. Current built of the game is 61297, CM has the version 3.7. When starting CM, everything seems fine, my username/password is being checked and I can search for assets. But when I try to download them, I receive an error message: "Unknown content error" and the download is highlighted in red.
I have tried so many things to solve the problem but it does not work. In another forum, I read that there could be a problem with the game key.
I did not buy the game on Steam, I bought it from another site where you receive the game key (which was different from the Steam game key after installation) via mail after paying the game. The game was cheaper there than on Steam. Could this be the problem? Auran accepted they (Steam) key without any errors and my Auran account says Trainz 12 has been registered.

I wouldn't recommend an extended database repair, however a quick database repair may help. Also, I would look into running a Network Diagnostic from the File menu in Content Manager, and report any failures listed here.

I have tried Database rapair (simple and extended) but no success. The Network diagnostic runs without any errors. I tried to get the downloads running for hours yesterday. Database repair, Network diagnostics, checking my firewall and so on. Everything seems to work fine but downloads dont start.

Mmmmm, Won't Auran release Account Details to family members if the user dies? I'd imagine you'd have to do some proving of Identity, but Picture ID + Death Certificate ought to fulfill that?
