Cloning sessions

I have a route with one session. I tried to clone the session, prior to experimenting with it, by opening the session then using Save As. However, the only option allowed was to save both a new route and session, but I don't want a new route. What am I doing wrong?

I solved my problem: you don't use Save As, which seemed logical to me, you use Save, then choose to save a new session.
