Clinchfield sessions?

I just downloaded the Clinchfield route, and it is going to be one of my favorites. Does anyone know of any more sessions for this route?

If you have any specific request for a session I'll look into doing it.

Let me know what you are looking for; shunting, big coal train haul, etc... Specific locos or rolling stock to use also. Everything must be on the DLS though.

William0d0: I have just downloaded the Morning Passenger session you refer to in the above post but the session dep. has two two missing kuids. Actually they are e listed as on the DLS but as upgrades however they will not download. They are:
Car Spline 5,<kuid:703319:100359>
Car Spline 6,<kuid:703319:100340>
If I just delete them will it make any material difference to the session? Cheers

I believe they are bort assets which were improperly uploaded and are no longer available. They are not required for single player sessions.

Car Spline 5,<kuid:703319:100359> and Car Spline 6,<kuid:703319:100340> are by Bort85 and all his "creations" have been removed from the dls. They are in the route not the session so I guess somebody needs to contact msgsapper to make yet another update of his excellent route.

William0d0 beat me to the answer while I was checking the kuids.

Edit: I have just tried to delete them but no go
In 'Current Search' the Delete option is greyed out and with a R click they will not "open for edit ' [to allow me to delete from there] as it is also greyed out. Neither will let me get at them to delete. Any suggestions? cheers

To put it simply you cannot delete what you have not got nor edit it.
You have two possible options:
1) Go throught the route and look for instances of double white dotted lines which will be the missing splines, delete each instance using delete under the track tab and replace with either Car Spline 1,<kuid:60238:38171> or Car Spline 4,<kuid:60238:38174> by Vulcan which are the same and are built in to TS12.
2) If these two assets are the only ones missing in the route you could also simply use delete missing assets from the route editor menu.
The one drawback of both of these methods is that the new route will be saved under your own kuid and any sessions will need to have their config.txt files edited to point to the new route kuid (there are two instances of the kuid that need changing, one next to map-kuid and the other in the kuid table).

The alternative to all this is to put up with the missing dependencies until msgsapper updates the route. He is aware of the problem and it is on his to do list. Keep an eye on his Clinchfield thread here for information:
