Does Trainz Classics also have a download station ? If so why is it not listed on the Download Station page ? And if you only own Trainz Classics can you still download content made for 2004 or 2006 version ?

Nope, assets for every single version of TRS are all on the same Download Station.

Soon, we are still focusing on getting TC sent out, but hope to have the DLS updated soon.
Yes, you can download assets from all previous versions of the game.
Even though I have several versions of Trainz on my system I am going to be guessing somethings here.
First I would say that anything made for TRS2006 will work with TC and hopefully with no errors. I have no downloaded into TC yet so this is a bit of a guess, but still a reasonable one.
When TRS2006 came out there where a lot of problems as the checking process in 2006 was more "refined" then in 2004 and some of the codes in the Config Files of content had changed. This meant a lot of "fixing" by users and some content corrections by creators. This will still be a problem for TC users. While many of the problems are only minor and some what easy to fix they can take time and in a way mean less enjoyment. As 2006 has now been out for a while many of the major problems have been corrected by creators, as I said, and with the Kuid2 numbering system for content you will hopefully have less problems. The kuid2 numbers mean that the Download Station will download the most recent version.
