Class 150 (marky7890)

I have just downloaded the Class 150's and all dependencies that are needed. The loco shows up in Railyard but the bogeys are missing. Checked with TO but nothing is noted. Any ideas. I have done the usual with the chump files. Just puzzled as to why they are not showing.

I have the same problem on all Mark's latest stock, no bogies.
I used TDPro to get them so that gets all available assets at the same time but it could not find the bogies.
Some of these files are BIG! 6/7 Mb.

The bogey references are written in the TRS2006+ convention, TRS2004 can't process this. To make the bogeys show in TRS2004, delete these lines:

bogeys {
0 {
reversed 0
bogey <kuid:45317:1989>
}
1 {
reversed 0
bogey <kuid:45317:1989>
}
}

and replace with this:

bogey <45317:1989>
bogey-1 <45317:1989>

Then you need to delete world_cache_dispatcher.chump for TRS2004 to rebuild the database and 'see' the change you have made.

They're working fine for me in TS2010, with compatibility mode turned OFF I would add...

Works great here in TS2010 Native Mode too.
CMP couldn't find a couple of assets so I had to download them manually, but apart from that, perfect.

Thanks tmz06003, I just noticed you missed out the KUID of the bogeys,
so the new lines would be:

bogey <KUID:45317:1989>
bogey-1 <KUID:45317:1989>

I have uploaded new versions of these with bogey code changed, so they should work for TRS2004 users. So they should be on the DLS tomorrow.

The files are large because the main image is 2048 x 2048 pixels, and is a TGA this is what uses the most space.



Also i'm glad the train works fine in TS2010 and in Native mode :D

One very minor question though... On the FGW version, is the texture skewed funny? the 'ern' on the end of 'Western' looks kinda weird.


Something has gone wrong with the mapping on the mesh, there is no way to change it as the creator (Sparky123456) lost the gmax files in a harddrive crash.

Ah, shame... Still, it's not a huge problem.

(Btw, there are ways that the mesh could be recovered, if Sparky wanted to work on it...)

Its been at least a year since the failure, also he left the Trainz community quite a while ago.

Hi Mark.

I love these 150s but would like to add a reskin of my own. I can do this on the original tga body file but it won't show when placed on the track (although it does in the consist window). I'm not 100% with the reskinning process but do I need to make a change to the chameleon script to get my own reskin to show?

Firstly i'm newish to the forums..lol but been using Trainz since 2004.
So..... Hello peoples.

Love the class 150 and have been reading up on many things.
I see theres no people in the trains when they are loaded and research is suggesting its the main gmax file not having the attachment-points included.
Upon finding this post i see the creator lost the fille so no way of adding these updates so the only way is to create a new class 150 in Gmax which is what i'll be looking into doing. So any advice on which path i need to follow to create these new 150's with passengers etc will be helpful I've editted the config files to include passengers but still not showing which lead me to this post so now i know the reason and will start getting to grips with Gmax and Hopefully when i get the hang of it all i'll do alot more...

Anyways, i been playing about with some files to see what i can edit and skin and have a few screen shots for you
Still alot of work to do but comin on nicely.
Must say thanks to all involved who created the route Yorkshire (Hull - Selby - Brid) as i'm using that but changing area's housing etc.
And ATLS System.. wow.. fantastic!
