City-Country Route(S)???

There are dozens of City Country routes. Is there any purpose to this? They just go on and on. I downloaded one of the latest. MANY errors. I fail to see a purpose in the route. Quality and content, with dozens of versions, seem to have no rational relationship . I must be missing the objective of this series.

Many of these routes are modified mobile versions of the routes. The mobile user community has no local storage and uploads their routes to the DLS.

John, the android app can save locally. But Apple apps can save to the iCloud if the programmer builds it into the app. That is how people that use iPhones and iPads to make and edit videos save their files.

Thank you for that important detail. The "if the programmer builds it into the app" part says it all.

It could also be a bunch of youngsters uploading their precious work to the DLS to share. My 5-year-old nephew built his first route in TS12 and thought it was the coolest thing ever way back when.

Hi John. I edited my post after my better half told me she can save files to local storage on her iPhone 13 Max now. I'm not sure if that is all apps or just official Apple apps.
