City and Country USA facelift

Something I started on a month and a half ago that never got anywhere. I'm redoing the City and Country USA Route in TS12 with some new texturing and other stuff I just can't name right now...:p

There isn't much to see right now since I just took these while taking leeferr's 2-10-2 out for a run. Hopefully, i'll be adding more screenshots over time though:wave:

Feedback and suggestions are welcome;)

I'm thinking you can accomplish alot with this as your base route, it certainly begs for industries, and the different environments could make for a great little route, maybe even a MP route. It will be interesting to see what you come up with.:)

Well, here are some shots of the route that show the tracks and all that stuff. You can see the original texturing as well as my new texturing seen in the shots. Some large hills and cliffs have been lowered as well:)

:Y: looks good so far and as it was mentioned before this route begs for more and I think that it really would look good with some more added to it in some areas that you think needs somthing so have fun and make it how you like.

I'm still wide awake...

There really hasn't been much progress lately but i'm starting to add some sagebrush. Does this look alright? I'm using 2 types of dmdrakes sagebrush.

From here, the sagebrush adds a nice touch to the desert portion of the layout. :) Keep going with it, I'm looking forward to seeing even further progress in the future.

My "test" route...

 I have used this route and improved it several versions ever since the UTC Demo 405.

So far, this route has an operating coal mine and you take the cars to the steel mill and unload coal there. I'll focus on the city right now and show what's been done. It still needs work though

I've started on a diesel servicing facility which should hopefully be seen in future shots:wave:

They're Impressive Shots! However, maybe mixing a little bit of dirt in the plain bit of ballast there in-between the yard and main would blend well. And also, what is the diesel maintainence facility made out of?

Thanks

Jamie

@H222: I used "mat05" for the base of the facility and added the sand towers and fuel cranes.

Lookie here...:D

Needs a little more work but not much though.
