Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you like the route and new website. I built most of my routes on 512 ram and an older geforce card "I will look up the specs tonight". I'm running a more powerful computer now but I've worked hard sense then to decrease the poly count on my routes while mainting a high standard of quality.grogstop65,
Good luck to you and your team on the new site. Your route looks fantastic but I am afraid my computer would not be able to handle it. That's ok. I can still learn from your techniques to build better routes for myself. I do advocate tree spamming because I live in Western Pennsylvania (Penn's Woods) and trees are spammed everywhere.:hehe:
Good luck on your new venture.

If you want to learn from my techiques, what I'm about to tell you will be one of the most important things I can say.
Trees are not really spammed they are clustered together in great varitey...continuty with out monotony.
Tree spamming is inferior tactic based off of an inferior way of viewing a landscape. So do not be fooled by those who link my style to it
The tactic was linked to my name by its inventers but in all realty has nothing to do with how I create landscapes.
My best advice to you is to avoid that techique.
if you ever need any route building tips feel free to ask and I'll help you out as best I can.
PS, Western PA is in my opinion is home to some of if not the mot beautiful landscapes in the country. Where are you from in western PA? Maybe we share railfaning turf.

The climate leaves a bit to be desired, though. Especially when they plow the snow into the van accessible parking spaces!![]()
