I've been working on a small two-baseboard route for the past two-or-so weeks now and am keen to upload it to the DLS after making the finishing touches.
It's a small circular route servicing a single general goods factory and passenger station. It's connected to a Portal which allows the route to act standalone or if you want, add it to another route by removing the portal and connecting the track. I've had Trainz for years but this is going to be my very first DLS upload. I'm fairly certain that 99% of content is built-in to Trainz 12, otherwise it is definately on the DLS.
I'd like to think that the route is nearly done. All I need to do now is add the finishing touches which is the small details, including fixing up the factory and adding more to it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
This factory above is actually my best work, I think, due to the nature of the design. Although the detail isnt very high at the moment, you'll notice that the top of the rails themselves are actually level with the concrete, allowing smooth transition from one side to another. The sleepers and visible ballast is actually sunk into the ground in a sort of depression.
