Changing Loads in wagons

Ihave 2009 engineers edition i wanted to change a load on a couple of wagons so i went into content manager like i always have found the wagon i wanted to change went edit open in explorer changed the kuid number to the new load save and lauched trainz but when i went into surveyor to put the wagon in with the new load the wagon had turned black like all the colouring had been taken away i put the wagon on a track even went to driver but still black i have done this procedure to change loads always in 2006, 2004 with no problems this is the first time i have done it in 2009 edition and this has happened has anyone got any ideas

Check to make sure there are no errors. Some times when you make changes to assets in 2009 they come up with errors they did not report before. Carl

There are plenty of assets in 2009 that work fine in that version but are 'made' user older file standards. When you open and edit them and then commit them back to the game 2009 will see them as having errors becaude of a process that takes place in 2009 when you commit an asset. As Lewiscc65 has suggested your asset is more than likely faulty. Go back into Content Manager and see if it shows as having errors

yeah check that there was no fault the wagons worked fine until i changed the load has anyone got ant ideas to fix

Try leaveing the orginal load in config and add the load you want then in surveryor choose that load
